Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge - June 2016!! =)

HELLO!!
I'm here to share the New Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge ~ June 2016!! I wanted to make a SWEET Scene card and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! I just LOVE how ALL of the Paper Sweeties Stamps coordinate and you can Mix and Match between the different sets to create SO MANY AMAZING Designs!! I started by Stamping and Die Cutting both Emma and Jack!! Then I've used the At the Beach Stamp Set and the Surf's Up Stamp Set to Create the Elements for my Beach Scene along with using the Outfits for my Doll Images!! I Water Colored all of the Images with Distress Inks except for Emma and Jack, I used my Copic Markers to color them!! I've used the Party Time Stamp Set and the Coordinating Party Time Die Set for the Balloons!! After I Water Colored the Balloons I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to add Sparkle and then coated them each with Four Layers of Wow Clear Embossing Powder!! I wanted to add some Flower Embellishments to my Girls Outfit so I used the Flowers from the Faith Hope Love Stamp Set and the You Are Tu-Tu Sweet Stamp Set!! The Base Background of my Card was Created using a PTI Balloon Bash Cover Plate Die!! I Die Cut it from Distress Water Color Paper and then used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to Water Color it!! Once Dry I backed it with Vellum and then Colored on the Back Side of it with my Clear Wink of Stella Marker!! Its hard to see in the Picture, but in real life it just REALLY adds to the whole Birthday Scene Design!!
I hope you'll stop by the Rest of the AMAZING DT Blogs and the AWESOME Guest Designer Blogs to see what they have created!! I CAN'T WAIT to see what you create!!

Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #32 ~ Use an Arrow!! =)

HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY/MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!! =)
Today I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs for the New Inky Paws Challenge #32 ~ Use an Arrow!! I was SUPER EXCITED about the New Challenge and decided to use the New Points & Plumes Die Set along with the New Adventure Awaits Stamp Set for my Card today!!
Points & Plumes Die set by Newton's Nook Designs   Adventure Awaits Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs
Here's my take on the Challenge Photo!!
I thought it would be FUN to create a Die Cut Background using the Arrow Dies and then I Watercolored a Distressed Watercolor Card Base to go underneath my Die Cut Card Panel!! I used Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar, Cracked  Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers and Worn Lipstick!! I LOVE these Colors together!! Then I Die Cut a MFT Zig Zag Rectangle Die from some Distress Watercolor Paper and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment along with a Small Arrow Detail!! I Embossed everything in some SSS Fine Detail Antique Gold Embossing Powder and then I decided I wanted the Sentiment to "POP" off my Card alittle more so I used the NEW Mini Misti Stamping Tool I won during the Misti-Mania Event going on over on the My Sweet Petunia Blog to Double Stamp and Emboss the Sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink just slightly off from my Antique Gold Stamped and Embossed Sentiment and I REALLY LOVE the way it turned out!! (If you haven't been entering for your chance to WIN a Mini-Misti Stamping Tool I HOPE you'll GO and get entered for your chance to WIN!! SQUEAL!! Such an AMAZING EVENT!! Iliana ROCKS!!)   =)
Then to Ground my Sentiment a Bit I Die Cut some SSS Antique Gold Embossed Cardstock along with some Black Cardstock using a Reverse Confetti Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts  Mini Zig Zag Die!! I Adhered them one ontop of another on the Bottom of the Zig Zag Rectangle Stamped Sentiment Piece!! Then I added some Gold and Black Acrylic Paint Splatters and a Mix of Sequins from Little Things from Lucy's Cards Brushed Gold Sparkly Sequin Mix!! I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti to finish it off!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! I CAN'T WAIT to see what you create for this Month's Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #32 ~ Use an Arrow!! THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have a FABULOUS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog
Simon Monday Challenge Blog

Hello!!
I saw that the challenge over on both the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog and the Simon Says Monday Challenge Blog was FUN with Felt!! =) SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Felt!! I have been creating up a storm using the Simon Says Stamps Plush Party Bunny Wafer Die Set along with Plush Spring Time Basket Wafer Die Set and the Mini Flower and Leaves Wafer Die Set!! I've been having FUN altering the Die Cuts to create some other projects to get MORE out of my Dies!! I just LOVE being able to use them for SO MANY different things!! =) So I created a Sweet Little Pig along with a Larger 3-D Basket for my Niece to carry her Sweet Little Pig around in from some October Afternoon Fabrics and some Felt!! =) For the Pig I Die Cut ALL of my Pieces and then just made the ears alittle smaller!! I Stitched it altogether and then added the Mini Flowers to the her Ear!! I used the Button Die Cut from some Soft Pink/Peach Felt from WPlus9 for the Pigs Nose and Stitched it too the Face of the Pig!! For the Basket I drew out a Pattern using the Spring Time Basket Die to create a 3-D Basket!! Here's a Picture of the Pattern I made!!
It's SUPER EASY to create and then I used the Die to Cut out the Fabric Pieces from the October Afternoon Fabric and then used the Pattern I made to Cut my Felt Pieces out to create the Shape and the Liner of my Basket!! I like to double it up just to make it more stable, but you could totally just do this in a Single Layer if you want!! Then I Stitched it up and added the Handle also included in the Set!! I layered this up as well and again I did it to make it more sturdy so it could stand up to LOTS of Wear and Tear from Raelee!! =)

This is my Second Post for today!! =) If your looking for my May Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge Guest Designer Post Please Scroll Down!!  THANKS =)

HELLO!!
Welcome back to the last day of the
Today we are showcasing the New
"A Cozy Day In" Stamp Set!! This Set is SO FUN!!
Let's take a look at this AWESOME Set!!
I Just LOVE this SWEET Image and these Sentiments!!
Here's the Card that I've made for today!!
I wanted to make a FUN Shaker Card and I thought the Fringe Scalloped Rectangle Die Set from Lil' Inker Designs was the PERFECT Fit!! So I created a FUN Frame for my Shaker Card using it in an unexpected way!! I Die Cut the Largest Frame in the Set from some Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper and then I took the Next Size Frame and Die Cut the Distress Watercolor Paper again only I Die Cut it from the Back Side so that I could have the DOUBLE Scalloped Border Edge!! SQUEAL!! It just makes me HAPPY and it reminds me of the Border on a Quilt or Rug!?? Next I Stamped and Embossed my Image onto Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then used my Distress Inks to Watercolor my Image!! I know some people (I used to be one of them) are intimidated by Larger Images like these because they are ALWAYS questioning how to Color Images like these using the Right Color Combination!!?? After LOTS of Practice and taking Classes from Online Card Classes, I use the Trick of thinking about the Color Wheel/or just a Rainbow!! It has REALLY HELPED me ALOT!! So for my Image today you can see the Rainbow RIGHT!! All I've done is broke it down the Shirt is my (Red) even though I decided to use Pastel Colors!! The Cats are my (Orange)!! The Chair is my (Yellow)!! I skipped Green and the Blanket is my (Blue) and then the Book is my (Purple)!! SO EASY Right!!??
I hope this helps to make you think about Coloring in your Larger Images with more Confidence and I CAN'T WAIT to see what you CREATE using this SWEET
"A Cozy Day In" Stamp Set!!

May Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge Guest Designer!! =)

Hello!!
I'm here to share the New May Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge as a Guest Designer!! SQUEAL!! You have NO IDEA how EXCITED I was when Laurel Beard emailed and asked me to Join them clear back in March!! It ALWAYS AMAZES me just how MUCH Planning, Work and Effort goes into Hosting these Challenges each Month so I just wanted to give Laurel and Ellen Hutson a HUGE THANK YOU for ALL of the Hard Work, the Guest Designer Invitation and the chances to WIN!! It MEANS ALOT!! =) I'm SO EXCITED to share my Card with you today and I'll have a couple more to share as the Challenge goes on!! =) So I was INSPIRED by the Flowers and the Color of the Lipstick (??) Quote that says "She LOVED Life and it LOVED her Right Back"!! That's also how I came up with the Sentiment I used for my Card!!
I've used Essentials by Ellen Vellum for my Card today and instead of Stamping and Embossing the Flowers onto it, I used the Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Bohemian Garden by Julie Ebersole and the Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Thankful by Julie Ebersole  to Trace my Floral Bouquet Design and then Debossed the Design into the Vellum!! You have to be some what careful not to Puncture through he Vellum when doing this Technique, but in REAL Life it is SO WORTH the results!! =) I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the look and that I can get MORE use out of my Clear Stamps!! SQUEAL!! =) I recently took the Clear and Sheer Class from Online Card Classes and that is where I got my Inspiration for this Technique!!
I used my Zig Clear Color Real Brush Markers to Watercolor on the Backside of the Vellum!! You could use Copic Markers or your Alcohol Inks too!! I really like the look and the results I got using the Zig Clear Color Real Brush Markers though!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Fancy Thanks by Julie Ebersole using WoW Super Fine Embossing Powder over VersaFine Black Onyx Ink and then Die Cut the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Totally Fabulous by Julie Ebersole from some Black Cardstock and again from some Black Adhesive Fun Foam!! I adhered them together and adhered it to my Card Front!! A few Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finishes of my Card!!
I hope you JOIN in on the FUN over on the Ellen Hutson Classroom Blog for a chance to WIN a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the Ellen Hutson Store!! SQUEAL!! =)

If you're not familiar with the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge its a Monthly Inspirational Challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired Photo that is located on the CLASSroom Blog!! A random Challenge participant will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to the Ellen Hutson Store!!  To be eligible, to WIN you MUST use Essentials by Ellen Products and use the Photo Badge as Inspiration for your Project!! There will be an inlinkz on the Challenge Post where you can Submit your Entry!!
