'Hello Team!
I know everyone is busy getting their projects together for release week next week - but I wanted to mention a couple of upcoming sponsorships too. Remember, these are totally OPTIONAL for everyone. But I'd love to have a couple of you participate if you have time and are interested!

Feb. 22 - We're sponsoring the cupcake challenge - Theme is "Cute Critters" (see attached image) - If you'd like to create a card it will be featured on the cupcake challenge blog on feb. 22. If you want to play along just send our image to me by Thursday, Feb. 19

Feb. 27 - We're sponsoring another "Coffee Lovers" blog hop - no need to do anything for this date - just wanted you to know so you can help spread the word about this fun hop. I think she usually has a public link up too so if you happen to link up, feel free to use our stamps ("apple delights" would be good or "love à la carte").'

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share the New Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #299 over on their Challenge Blog!! Isn't this just too SWEET!!?? I LOVE me some Cupcakes and when I saw this Inspiration Photo I just had to play along!! Newton's Nook Designs is the Sponsor for this Challenge and it couldn't be a BETTER fit with the Title Name being Critter Cupcakes!! After I looked through my stash for Inspiration, I decided to create my own Cupcake using several different Images from several different set!! I used the Speech Bubble Image from the Newton's Day Dream Stamp Set for the Top of my Cupcake!! Then I used the Basket Base Image from the Baskets of Wishes Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed it two times layering it together to create the base of my Cupcake!! I also used the Bow Image from this set as a Sweet little Embellishment for my Cupcake!! Next I stamped the Bunny Image from the New Bunny Hop Stamp Set and I used the New Naughty Newton Stamp Set to stamp the Face Image onto my Bunny Image to create a frontward facing Bunny Image!! I also used two different Sentiment Stamps to create the Sentiment for my Card!! "Celebrate" is from the Baskets of Wishes Stamp Set and the "it's your Birthday!" is from the Newton's Birthday Bash Stamp Set!! I just LOVE the way it turned out!!

  1. Such a sweet card, Larissa! I love the sparkles on the cupcake. It's great that you were able to achieve the cupcake you wanted by combing stamp sets. And how awesome is that bunny?! love the paper you used to stamp the bunny on and how you added color to give a finish look. LOVE!
