Hello!!
I'm sharing a card I made for the Avery Elle Challenge #3 Ombre/Gradient!!
I wanted to play with the New Avery Elle Bottle It Up Stamp and Die Sets I just got!!
I also wanted to use the Avery Elle Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set!!
I decided it would be FUN to pull them out and create a card for this challenge using them!! =) I had to think and think and think about how I wanted to incorporate the Ombre'/Gradient design using this set!! Sure the obvious was to use some patterned paper that had a Design already done for me!! Or I could have just stamped a design of some kind!!?? That wasn't Out Side of the Box enough for me so after looking through my stash I came across the New Studio Calico Printed Acetate Papers and I KNEW I wanted to use them for my Bottle!! I Stamped my Bottle and then Fussy Cut it out so I would have the Stamped Line but no border!! Then I took the Printed Studio Calico Acetate Paper and lined up the design then Die Cut the Large Bottle!! I then took my Copic Markers in the Shades B00, B24 and B14 and I colored on the Back Side of the Acetate in between the Printed Design to create a FUN Ombre'/Gradient Design and I LOVE the way it looks!! I then took the Flower Bouquet from the Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set (one of my ALL time FAVORITE Sets) and I stamped the Flowers in a FUN Gradient Design too!! I added all of the Different parts using PTI Poppy and New Leaf Ink, Simon Says Stamp Cotton Pink and Mint Ink, and Hero Arts Butter Bar Inks to stamp the images!! I knew I wanted to create a layered Bouquet so I stamped the Flowers Twice so I could cut them out and layer them up!! I cut out the entire Bouquet and then I inked the edges to finish it off and to add a Vintage look!! I layered the Flowers using foam Tape and then I Added it to the top of my Bottle!! I stamped the Tag and a Sentiment and then I cut them out and colored the edge using a Black Soot Distress Marker to finish it off!! I added it to the side of the Bottle!! I wanted it to look like it was setting on a Wooden Table top so I cut a strip of My Mind's Eye Wooden Patterned Paper and then Inked the Edges!! I thought it need more depth because t looked like the Bottle was just floating so I decided to use the Bottle Die and I Embossed it onto the Front of my card front!! I added some of the Copic Marker B00 Color to the outside of the Bottle Impression for a little bit of shadowing and then I used my Ink Blending Tool to distress the entire card front making sure to add just a hint of color!! I added some Splatters of Heidi Swapp Black Color Shine Spray, a Burlap Bow to the Tag and some Rock Candy Distress Glitter to the Flowers for some extra Shine and detail!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I hope you like it too!!??
Here is my finished Card!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Drafts Challenge-CONGRATS!! =)

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share the card I made for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Drafts Challenge!! I LOVE this Sketch!! I actually had more ideas than time and I hope I'll be able to create some of my other ideas to share too sometime!!?? Seems like that is how it goes for me though!! More ideas than time!! =)
I have been LOVING all of the AMAZING Water Colored Cards and Techniques that I have been seeing lately!! Jennifer McGuire has shared a couple REALLY AWESOME Water Color Bleed Technique Videos on her Blog!! If your interested you should TOTALLY check them out!! I HEART her BLOG!! =)
So I have been wanting to play around with my Distress Inks and the FUN Water Color Bleed Technique that Jennifer shared a couple weeks ago and I knew I wanted to use the New Paper Smooches Seeing Stars Stamp Set along with the Paper Smooches Bold Buzzwords Stamps Set!! I wanted to change it up a bit though and use some Dazzling Diamonds Tattered Angels Spray Mist instead of just water for a really sparkling water color Design!! I thought it would be Neat to use the Bold Congrats and I LOVE how it turned out!! I have been playing around with this technique and I can't STOP!! So WARNING Once you try it you'll be ADDICTED!! It is SO FUN!! Beckett even joined in and we created some pretty AWESOME projects!! =)
I started by inking up my CONGRATS Stamp using Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks!! I tried to space them out evenly!! Then I stamped directly onto my Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Paper and then I Sprayed it with my Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Spray Mist!! I LOVE how it Bleeds out and away, but you can still see the Words!! I used my heat gun to dry it so it would stop bleeding once I got the look I wanted!! I could have left it like this, but I wanted to do what Jennifer showed to make the Sentiment more prominent and I stamped over and off set alittle bit with the same Congrats Stamp in Black Onyx Versa Fine Ink!! I LOVE how this looks!! SQEAL in DELIGHT!! =)
I played around with the different stars and the different colors and combinations of ink to see how they looked together once they were sprayed and started to bleed and I found that the Picked Raspberry and the Seedless Preserves mixed really well together so I stamped them next stamping the solid Star image with the Picked Raspberry and then using the two different open star images and layering them over the top of the Solid Star images using the Seedless Preserves!! I then sprayed them with the Dazzling Diamonds TA Spray Mist and let them Bleed!! I used my heat gun again to stop the bleeding and it is so FN to watch how this moves and mixes!! I then used the different sizes and stamped using the different Distress Inks to finish my design spraying the mist and heat setting each time to control the Bleeding as best I could!! I made sure my paper was completely dry before I added the rest of my sentiment and then I added my stripped frame an the Lil' Inker Design Stitched Stars with some Jenni Bowlin Gem Stars for an added touch of Dimension and sparkle!! I used them instead of adding the Banner Ends like in the sketch and I LOVE the way it turned out!!
Here is my Finished Card!! =)
So I hope you'll give this Technique a try and I know these Photos aren't the best and don't show how sparkling AWESOME the Design really is, but it is SO NEAT in real life!! You will be seeing more of this FUN technique from me in the Future! =) THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have an AWESOME Weekend!! =)

Hello!!
I wanted to stop in today and share the card I made for the Paper Sweeties Inspiration #17 March Challenge!! I was looking through my Collection of Paper Sweeties Stamps and I came across this Sweet Tree Image with the Bird from the Happy Summer Stamp Set (guess what it's even on SALE right now for $6.00) YIPPEE!! =)!! I thought it would be FUN to do a FUN Tree Scene and use some papers to kinda of reflect a Dark Day just after it had rained, but how TWEET it is just after a Rain Storm!! =) So I stamped the Tree Image and then colored it in using some Faber-Castel Aquarelle Water Color Pencils and then I added some of the Flower Sequins!! LOVE these!! =)
I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the panel and added the Ground!! I placed the Blue Bird at the Top of the Tree and colored it a Soft Turquoise Blue!! I found the Dark Blue with Turquoise Dotted Paper and then found a Sweet Pink with Strips in two shades of Pink and used the Sift Yellow and Green for my Tree!! I LOVE the way it came together!!
Here is my Finished Card!!
If you'd like to Play along grab your Supplies and Join in on the FUN!!

Hello!!
I'm playing along with the HIGH GLOSS March Blog Hop hosted by Paper Trey Ink today!!
I wanted to use the New Wet Paint Stamp Set and I thought it would be FUN to use some Embossing Powder for a Nice High Gloss and Dimensional Look!! I took the Online Card Class Clean & Simple 3 after winning a spot in a Blog Giveaway!! SCORE!! =) During the Class Stephanie Klauck shared a FUN Technique that I had done before and LOVED!! So I decided to use it for this challenge today only I decided I wanted to use MicroFine Glitter by Stampendous instead of Distress Glitter!! I stamped with Versa-Mark covered it with my Sticky Stuff Embossing Powder and then covered it with the Micro Fine Glitter in the different colors!! I then stamped over the Image again and this time coated it with Clear Embossing Powder!! I did this three times for a nice raised look and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I kept it really Simple especially for me, but I wanted the Words to be the Focal with the FUN Look I gave them!! I then added just a couple sequins and my card was finished!!
Here is my finished Card!!

Paper House Productions "To Have & To Hold" Wedding Blog Hop!!

Hello!!
Welcome to the Paper House Productions "To Have & To Hold" Wedding Blog Hop!!
We were challenged to use this AMAZING Collection and create a Project that we LOVED!!
After thinking about all of the possibilities, I decided it would be FUN to create a Collection of different Bags and Boxes that could be used for any number of things for a Wedding!!
I started by grabbing my We R Memory Keepers Punch Boards!! I used the
Candy Box, Gift Bag, and the Gift Box Punch Boards!!
If you've NEVER seen or used these before they are a MUST have tool in my opinion!! I make LOTS of little gifts, treats, surprises and party favors so for me these are a HUGE time saver!! I'm going to link to a Video (here) that Jennifer McGuire shared using each of these boards so you can see for yourself just how EASY they are to use!! =) Once you have made a few of them the process is so EASY and you get faster with each one you make!! Here they are in all of their Beauty!!
I would say that the Gift Box and the Gift Bag are my Favorite!! I can see using these for Special Presents!! I LOVE the Little Candy Boxes for Favors or for Personalized Gifts for attendants!!
Candy Boxes: I used an entire sheet of 12x12 paper to create them both!! After cutting down the Paper to size I followed the Instructions for the Candy Box Punch Board and then I added some May Arts Burlap Twine and a few of the To Have & To Hold Stickers!! '
Gift Bag: I used an entire sheet of 12x12 paper to create this bag!! After cutting it down alittle to follow the Instructions for the Gift Bag Punch Board I then added some stamped and Heat Embossed Hearts in Gold Embossing Powder coming from the Champagne Glasses Sticker!! I added some White Tulle Ribbon and a Label Sticker that I backed with some cardstock!!
Gift Box: I used an entire sheet of 12x12 paper to create this bag!! I followed the Instructions for the Gift Box Punch Board and I think using the Design on the Paper worked out so NEAT and gives a Modern Feel to this Gift Box!! I created a Tulle Ribbon Bow and added a Burlap Prima Marketing Bow to the Top to finish it off!!
I hope this gives you some ideas on some different ways that you can use the BEAUTIFUL Paper House Production "To Have & To Hold Papers and Stickers to create some AMAZING Gift Bags and Boxes!! They are sure to be the Talk of the Event!! THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you ENJOY the rest of the AMAZING Inspiration shared by the rest of the DT!!

Newton's Nook Design March Release!! =)

Hello!!
Today we are sharing the last of the New March Release Stamp Sets Basket of Wishes!!
This is one of my New Favorites and I LOVE all of the possibilities with this New Set!! I can see mixing and matching this with several of the older Stamp Sets to create some really FUN Scenes!!
I wanted to create a FUN Basket of Flowers Card so I stamped out the Basket and then the flowers onto several different colors because I wanted to paper piece it together!! Call my CRAZY, but I LOVE to paper piece and I wanted a 3-D look to my flowers so layering the different pieces was the perfect way to achieve this look!! I then used a Black Soot Distress Marker to color the edges of the layers so it would look like one seamless piece once it was all put together!! I wanted a Die Cut Circle to use as my Image Base and I decided to do a double circle design for even more interest!! I used some border strip paper to add to the bottom of my card and then I stamped my sentiment and then I added some Sequins and mini gems for the center of the Flowers and sprinkled some on the card front for more interest!! I LOVE the way it came together!!
Here is my finished card!!
Are you EXCITED to get you hands on these New Stamps!!??
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the New Releases and all of the AMAZING Inspiration shared by the DT and our AWESOME Guest Designers for the March Release!! They will be available in the Newton's Nook Store on Friday March 21st!!

One Layer Bunny with JustRite and Clean and Simple Card Class!! =)
If your here for the Newton's Nook Designs March Release Post Please Scroll Down!! =)
Hello!!
I'm sharing a Card I made for the JustRite Friday Challenge #116 - CAS Cards over on the JustRite Blog!!
I decided it would be FUN to play around with a One Layer CAS Card Design!! =)
I was LUCKY enough to win a Spot in the Clean & Simple Card Class 3 and I haven't had much time to play along, but today I found some time and I'm sure glad I did!! I LOVE the results!! Like I said in my Last Post CAS Cards are hard for me Because I like STUFF and Dimension and I always think they look unfinished!! I decided to use the New Welcome Spring Stamp Set and the coordinating Nested Cloud and Tag Spellbinders Dies!!
I thought it would be Neat to try and layer the different Label Stamps and then have a Scene in the Middle of the Label and to have it be a One Layer Card!! So I die cut the coordinating dies and made some masks!! I just used some printer paper and then I used my Distress Inks and my Ink Blending Tool!! I started by stamping the Largest Label in Black Ink!! Then I used the Cloud Mask to cover it so I could apply my Pumice Stone and Tea Stain Distress Ink to the outside edge of the Card!! I then Masked the outside of the Card leaving the Cloud Label Open and used some Bundled Sage to color it!! I then Die Cut the other Label and Stamped it then I masked the outer part of the Label and used Tumbled Glass to color it and decided it would be best to just stamp and cut the Bows out after coloring them with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink!! I then made a Mask for the Ribbon Border and masked the inside of the Label after stamping the Grass and the Bunny!! I used Mustard Seed and LemonAde and then I used Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint for the Grass!! I had the Bunny masked, but in the end I thought it looked better with the Bunny Stamped and cut out and then glued back in place for some depth to the Image!! I used my Silver Faber-Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencil to color the Bunny and then added some Soft Pink for the Ears and the Cheek!! I added a pearl for the tail and then masked everything and added some water splatters to the background for some distressed splatters!! I used some really thin Foam Tape to attach the two Labels together and I LOVE the way it came together!! Although the masking is kinda time consuming the results are SO WORTH the work!! Here is my finished Card!!
Hopefully you can see how AWESOME the Two One Layer Labels look together and maybe you'll give this technique a try!! =) THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEEK!!

Hello!!
I'm sharing a Card I made for the JustRite Friday Challenge #116 - CAS Cards over on the JustRite Blog!!
I wanted to make a Bright and Cheery Card for SPRING because I'm SO READY for the Nice Spring Weather!! =) I also wanted to use the New Welcome Spring Stamp Set because I just LOVE all of the SWEET Images!! I think its my NEW JustRite Favorite Stamp Set!! =) I also used the Chevron Background Stamp which is another one of my FAVORITE Stamps!!
I decided to stamp the Chevron Background Stamp onto Vellum and Heat Emboss it using some Stampin' Up Tempting Turquoise Embossing Powder!! I added some Gelato Shavings in different colors then colored over it with the White Gelato Artist Pitt Maker for a really FUN Background!! The color just shows through alittle and you can add as much or as little as you want!! With the embossing on top and the color showing through from Behind it really looks neat in real Life!! I shared this Technique in a Video here!!
I then Stamped the Ribbon Frame and Heat Embossed it using Zing Neon Purple Embossing Powder!! I Stamped the Sentiment in Black Versa Fine and then cut out a Black Mat to make it pop!! I Stamped the Sweet Bunny Twice and colored it in using the Faber-Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencils!! I tried to match the Neon Purple by mixing colors and I think I got it pretty close!! =) I used the Silver Metallic for the Bunny adding just enough to make it come to life and then I added soft Pink for the Ears, Nose and some Cheeks!! I cut out the bow and layered it onto the Bunny for alittle dimension!! I fussy cut her out and added her to my card front with some Foam Tape!! I LOVE how SWEET She is!! I used some Buttons with Pearls on both sides of my Sentiment Label to make it pop and then added a couple scattered pearls for some FUN Accents!! I LOVE how FUN but CLEAN and SIMPLE my card turned out!! I'm not the best at CAS Card Designs because they always seem so bare to me, but I think I was able to create a pretty good card for the challenge this week!!
Here is my Finished Card!!
THANKS so much for stopping by today and have a Fabulous Week!!
